Values
Loving care and education
Strawberry Garden's team of qualified heart-centered teachers are deeply committed to the principles of love, kindness and respect.
Every child deserves the very best loving care and education.
At Strawberry Garden Childcare we know that children thrive when teachers know them well and treat them with loving care and attention.
Nurturing relationships, combined with an unhurried programme, and creating a culture of kindness, are a few of our guiding priorities.
Indoor and outdoor learning has the potential to act as a powerful third teacher.
Special care has been taken to design and set up learning experiences and environments that are interesting, inviting, which helps to facilitate and encourage children's learning.

Values
A great place to grow
We are committed to making Strawberry Garden a great place for both children and adults to learn and grow.
Providing exemplary care and education requires teachers to keep up to date with current theory and best practice.
We employ teachers who love to learn and embrace the opportunity to learn.
We provide our team with excellent mentoring and professional development support.
Each child has their own key teacher who oversees their individual learning plan and helps guide and nurture their love for learning and their development.
Individualised care and education
Strawberry Garden aims to provide a space for children to relax, rest, and learn at their own pace.
Enriching learning environment and experiences are prepared for children, based on their interests.
Children's care moments and daily routines are flexible acknowledging the unique individuality of each child.
Teachers collaborate with parents to develop a learning plan for each child that celebrates their capabilities and supports their ongoing development.
A culture of kindness
Children do best when they are treated with understanding, patience, and loving-kindness.
Our focus is to communicate and work alongside children in ways that acknowledges them as partners in their learning journey.
Listening carefully to what children say and helping them to express their ideas, and teaching them that their contribution is valued.
One of our goals is for every child to start school with well-developed social skills that help them to share their ideas and work harmoniously alongside their peers.
Making life easier for families
We want to take the stress away from you by providing almost everything your child needs for their day.
Providing sunscreen, and milk for bottles, gives you a little less to worry about.
We want to make your life easier and we'll do our best to help you.
You are welcome to ring or ping (message) us anytime for updates about your child or to share information with us.
Photos and updates about your child will be posted directly to your phone app (we'll help you set this up, if needed), enabling you to keep in touch with your child's learning journey.
Resourcefulness
We reuse, recycle and up cycle, and in doing so role-model and encourage problem solving and creative thinking.
We appreciate families bringing in recycled materials like bottle tops, baking tins, bread tags, ribbons, and other items you no longer need.
